Synopsis[edit source]

Sachika Amane takes Shoma to stay at the Hapipare Anything Store, where he tastes potato chips for the first time. The duo help Sachika’s friend Ritsu Sato move into her apartment. When Ritsu is captured by a Granute soon afterwards, Shoma uses the new power of chips to save her.

Plot[edit source]

Sachika Amane finds Shoma sleeping on the side of a street and tries to wake him up. Eventually, he comes to and Sachika brings him to her house, which is also the location of her handyman business "Hapipare Anything." Once inside, Sachika gives Shoma a towel that he initially mistakes for cotton candy and tells him to clean up in the shower.

Meanwhile, the Stomach siblings are having a meeting, where Glotta Stomach asks if anyone has found Shoma. Lango says that his Agents have yet to find him, for which Glotta chastises him. Nyelv chastises Glotta, as it was Lango's Agents who cornered him. Twins Theta and Jeebh remind their siblings that Stomach Inc. will only continue to thrive if they cooperate, and the meeting switches to human procurement. Lango tells his siblings to find more high quality targets to attract the rich and concludes the meeting, but not before reminding Nyelv to wear his human face in classified areas.

Shoma leaves the bathroom and sees a bento and numerous snacks on the table. He pops some gummies into his mouth and creates some more Gochizos, which immediately run and hide in various boxes and cups in Sachika's house. Shoma starts eating the bento, but nothing comes out of him. He then eats a potato chip and creates three new Gochizos. Sachika gets a call from her friend Ritsu that she needs help moving into her new home, so Shoma offers to help. Sachika accepts, but tells him to brush his teeth first.

At his office, Hanto's mentor is pleased with how much attention his newest scoop is getting, just before Hanto goes off to continue his investigation of the monsters that he saw fighting in the city.

Shoma, and Sachika help Ritsu move into her new apartment and celebrate with soba and potato chips. While this is happening, Hanto continues his investigation by interviewing multiple people, including Hajime and his family. In a warehouse, a Granute gets a job, and a picture of Ritsu.

Back at the apartment, Sachika gives Shoma payment for helping out and asks him if there's a reason for his love of snacks. Shoma tells her that his mother is the reason, as she would often tell him about the different things she ate. Sachika gives him a notebook to turn into a "tasty diary" that he can use to jot down info about different snacks to remind him of the good times. Shoma wonders how she can be so generous, to which she says that everyone deserves to have happy times, which is why she started her handyman business.

Back in Ritsu's apartment, the Zakuzaku Chips Gochizos that Shoma created there go out into the night to look for Shoma. They see the Granute who was told to capture Ritsu turn her into an acrylic press.

Around this time, Shouma is writing in his notebook, and is about to leave when the two ZakuZaku Chips Gochizos appear at the window and tell him what they saw.

Shoma arrives at the warehouse and transforms into Kamen Rider Gavv. They start fighting, with the Granute initially offering to share his reward with him. In a rage, Shoma attacks him, getting Ritsu back. The Granute severely damages Shoma's armor, putting him on the defense until one of the Zakuzaku Chips Gochizos offers to help him. Shoma takes it and transforms into Kamen Rider Gavv ZakuZaku Chips. After figuring out his Zakuzakuchipslashers work, he is able to defeat the Granute and turn Ritsu back.

Meanwhile Hanto compares his reference sketch to the picture of Gavv that was uploaded online, confident that he now has a lead on finding the Granute that killed his mother, before he sees the VRCanbuggy fly overhead.

The next morning, Sachika finds a letter from Shoma, and one of Theta's Agents reports in and shows her the picture of Gavv that has been making the rounds online.
