Kamen Rider Zi-O (show)
Kamen Rider Zi-O (仮面ライダージオウ, Kamen raidā jiō) is the twenty-ninth show to air as part of the Kamen Rider series, and the twentieth in the Heisei Era. It began airing on September 2, 2018, after the finale of Kamen Rider Build, and would air up until August 25, 2019, followed by Kamen Rider Zero-One.

“I’ll become the king of Kamen Riders!”
Autumn 2018 - Before the eyes of the protagonist, born in 2000, who dreams of becoming a king, a time machine suddenly appears. A mysterious young woman from that time machine and tells him, “I have come from the year 2068. The world of the future is controlled by an evil king who tortures people and creates a hopeless world.” To change that hopeless world, the young woman came to the year 2018. She says furthermore, “Your future self, to become the ruler of time that destroys both worlds, will become Zi-O.” The protagonist destined to become Kamen Rider Zi-O will be not a hero but a demon king in the future… what is the fate of that future? He travels through spacetime while meeting each Heisei Kamen Rider— past, present, future; this is the story of the next generation’s Kamen Rider who fights to save them all.
